Downtown Athens Business Association (DABA)

"If Your Business is Downtown,

Then Downtown is Your Business!"

The Downtown Athens Business Association is a business association solely for Downtown Athens businesses. Our mission is promote Downtown Athens, through advertising, special events, and to be a community organization for people Downtown. Be a part of DABA!

In 2009, DABA funded over $6,000 worth of advertising to promote Downtown Athens. In addition, DABA coordinates the Downtown Athens Gift Certificate Program, and the Downtown Tour for UGA Orientation Leaders.

Keep in mind, in order to be a participating business in the Downtown Gift Certificate program and the annual UGA Orientation Leaders Tour; you must be a member of DABA!

DABA dues are very reasonable, are paid on an annual basis.

The dues structure is as follows:

Annual Dues Business size (in terms of gross sales/deposits)
$125 Up to $1,000,000 annually
$300 $1,000,000 to $10,000,000
$625 Above $10,000,000

DABA is served by a volunteer board of directors who are all Downtown business owners or Downtown property owners.
